#5 Jesus proclaimed His personal wealth!
Revelation 5:12. "power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor glory and blessing.
# 6 God wants you to invest in yourself! Matthew 19:29
# 7 Jesus taught us to invest wisely by investing in things that are permanent!
# 8 Why give? God has created a universe where it is impossible to receive without giving! Jn. 3:16
# 9 God Almighty controls the economy of America...and God controls your income!
Principle 9 might cause some theological discomfort to some of us. I find it uncomfortable.
# 10 Two kinds of givers: reason givers and revelation givers! Matthew 26: 6-13
Mary of the Rosary is a revelation giver. She gave her "Yes", she gave her body, she gave her reputation, she gave first born child by faith in the realization of what is hoped for
and on evidence of things not seen, (Heb. 11:1).
In his book The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran writes: "All you have shall some day be given; Therefore give now, that the season of giving may be yours and not your
inheritors."
